Lovable Moves Into the Enterprise: Microsoft Entra Sign-In, Azure and Power BI Connectors
Through September 2026 Lovable added Microsoft sign-in for apps, Entra gallery listing, SSO management, Power BI and Azure connectors, and on 30 September announced that apps built by a team can run inside the company's Microsoft tenant with Entra sign-in and IT controls. Plus EU inference and IP-allowlisted API keys for Enterprise. What it means for internal tools.
Lovable spent September 2026 courting IT departments. A run of changelog entries, capped by a 30 September announcement, aims to make Lovable-built apps acceptable inside companies that run on Microsoft. (What Is Lovable?)
What shipped
- Microsoft sign-in for apps and an Entra app gallery listing (mid-August).
- SSO management for workspace admins: edit SSO connection settings, add multiple SAML certificates, track OIDC secret expiry (11 September). (What Is SSO?)
- Power BI connector, including per-user access with Microsoft work accounts (15 September).
- Azure Cloud API and Azure Graph & Entra API connectors (23 September).
- 30 September: Lovable announced that apps a team builds can run inside the company's Microsoft tenant, with Entra sign-in and IT controls.
Enterprise plans also gained EU inference for AI processing and API keys restricted to IP allowlists (1 October), plus workspace announcement banners.
Why it matters
The fastest-growing use of AI app builders inside companies is internal tools — dashboards, approval flows, trackers — built by people outside the engineering team. The blockers have been predictable: Who can log in? Where does the data go? Can IT switch it off? Tenant deployment, Entra SSO and audit controls are the answers IT asks for. (Role-Based Access Control)
What builders should still check
- Permissions inside the app. SSO proves who someone is; your app still has to decide what they can see — and data from Power BI or Graph connectors may be sensitive. (Authentication vs Authorization)
- Connector scopes. Per-user access (each person sees only their own data) is safer than one shared service account.
- Data training settings. Business and Enterprise workspaces are excluded from Lovable's model training by default; Free and Pro are not unless you opt out. (Lovable Training Data Opt-Out)
- Ownership and exit. Keep the code synced to a company GitHub account. (Export a Lovable Project to GitHub)
The bigger picture
App builders are converging on the same enterprise checklist — SSO, audit logs, regional processing, admin controls. Replit expanded its Enterprise audit logs in the same month. (Replit MCP and Custom Connectors)

Lovable Now Uses Free and Pro Plan Data for AI Training Unless You Opt Out
Since 9 September 2026, Lovable may use customer data from Free and Pro plans to train AI models unless users opt out in Account settings → Privacy. Business and Enterprise workspaces are excluded by default. What that covers, how to opt out, and what to think about if your app handles client or customer data.
Lovable Adds Free Chat, 10-Hour /goal Runs and Domains From Chat
Lovable's late-August and September 2026 updates: chatting about ideas and apps is now free up to a daily allowance on Free, Pro and Business plans; /goal lets Lovable work toward one request for up to 10 hours; domains can be found, bought and connected from chat; and drafts let you try changes without touching the published app.
